This Tuesday was one of the most satisfying weekdays for US players waiting for some positive progress in the recent crackdown on online poker operators. Until now, they had nothing to do but wait for any happening news about how and when they will again be able to regain their account balance laying with online gaming operators. There were billions of dollars expected to be there in operators’ kitty without any use for whatsoever. Though, none of the accused operators have ever refused to honor the payouts of any of its player. However, the question was, if they were authorized enough to take such initiative. Things changed one-week ago, when DOJ regained them access of their domains to come up with a process to enable US players for their money withdrawals.
Biggest Expected Payouts in the History
PokerStars, one of the biggest suffered offshore poker gaming operator intimate its US players to process their cash balance laying with PokerStars. The good news came after almost a week after they regain their dot Com domain. Big payouts expected to be seen in the history of PokerStars or any other online operators. To facilitate the overcrowded payout requests PokerStars has segregated requests according to their amounts, i.e. all requests between $1 to $100 will be sent through direct bank transfer, requests from $100 to $50000 be done by sending checks to each player’s communicating address, while all other high amount requests for more than $50000 each would be done through wire transfer. All these high amount wire transfers are expected to be scanned by US taxing authorities for their originating sources.
Frequent Players Points Redemption
However, PokerStars has not come up with any process or news about how they will redeem Frequent Players Points that are resting in users’ account. Normally, these points are saleable through VIP store. These points alone are expected to be worth hundreds of thousands dollars. All other pretty account balances worth less than $1 will first be forfeited by PokerStars and then expected to be used for charity purposes, though, they have not confirmed anything yet.
This time, unlike normal payout requests, US players need to wait little longer for their withdrawal money to reach them because of the massive such requests. Though, all money is in safe hands, and everyone will have his money back to him, as told by PokerStars in an email sent to its US players this Tuesday. In next few weeks, figures are expected to come to know the estimated worth of processed payouts by PokerStars in the shortest possible time.
